LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
CHILD ABUSE INVESTIGATIONS FOR PATROL (CCN 1515-33401)
SEX OFFENDER TRACKING & REGISTRATION ENFORCEMENT (CCN 1515-31525)
Five-O Training was originally formed with a goal to train others in sex offender management across all areas. Personnel with experience in one area often know very little about other roles in sex offender management and those new to the assignment may not have training or resources available within their department or region. Our course covers all aspects of registration laws and requirements, compliance enforcement, and violation investigations for a comprehensive understanding of sex offender management. We are the only in-person course taught by current law enforcement professionals!
Students asked for more training, so we’ve expanded and are now offering a Child Abuse Investigations for Patrol course!
The purpose of our child abuse for patrol course is to provide law enforcement personnel at the patrol level with the knowledge to recognize various types of suspected child abuse and to enhance the primary response to child abuse investigations. After taking this course, peace officers will have the skills and specific knowledge to properly investigate and document a child abuse incident, including understanding mandatory reporting requirements. Patrol is first on scene before any investigator responds and it is imperative they understand the complexities and specific challenges of child abuse cases.
